I've been talking it through with my buddy Brian about moving up to Washington with him. And it's really sounding like a good idea.

Current situation: I have a friend from high school and two family members living in the house, not to mention me and my grandparents. One of my uncles if also having a tough time and if his situation doesn't get better by this time next year, he'll also be moving in with us, and he'll be bringing his two boys with him.

So I've been thinking for a few months now that it's probably for the best if I try to look for my own place. Brian's already up in Washington with his girlfriend, living at her house. He's looking into an apartment and has been bugging me for a while to come move up with him once he's got the place.

Tonight we seriously started talking about it and found a decent 2 bedroom, 1 bath place that's only $575 a month. Split that between 3, possibly 4 people. He's swinging by the complex tomorrow to check it out in person and ask some more questions. The place is pet-friendly, so I can bring Mochi, and we can look forward to getting a puppy (which I've been wanting for a while now).

What it looks like right now is I'm gonna need to find a full-time job and save up about $1,000 so I can have my stuff brought up there, plus some money for rent. I'm not moving much, but what I am moving is pretty big, such as my bed and desk.

Brian's gonna talk to his manager at the place he works at right now to see if I can land a position there.

Big plans going on here. Big plans. But it's looking a hell of a lot more possible than my past plans to get out of here. So I'm crossing my fingers in good hopes.
